Healing Heroes Through Rescued Animals

Empowering veterans and public-safety personnel — law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and correctional officers — through equine and K-9 therapy with adopted mustangs and trained dogs.

Our Mission

Branded Brothers, Inc. provides equine and K-9 therapy programs to veterans and public-safety personnel — law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and correctional officers. Our horses are adopted mustangs and adopted animals; many of our dogs come from shelters and rescue organizations.

We believe that healing happens through purpose, responsibility, and the powerful bond between humans and animals. Together, rescued animals and the heroes who serve our communities find new purpose. At the end of every program, participants keep their horse or dog — a lifelong companion and partner in healing.

Our Programs

A progressive path from introduction to long-term healing, designed for veterans and public-safety personnel.

What Participants Say

The horsemanship program helped me find a sense of purpose again. Working with these adopted mustangs taught me patience and responsibility in ways I never expected.

— John D., Marine Corps Veteran

As a retired firefighter, I struggled after leaving the department. My shelter or surrendered dog from Branded Brothers gave me a reason to get up every morning and face the world again.

— Mike T., Retired Firefighter

As a Mental Health Director, I’ve seen firsthand how the bond between a veteran and a rescued animal can break through barriers that traditional therapy alone cannot. At Branded Brothers, we’re not just providing programs — we’re restoring purpose, one connection at a time.

— John Lewis, Mental Health Director
