About Branded Brothers, Inc.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit healing heroes through rescued animals — empowering veterans and public-safety personnel with equine and K-9 therapy programs.
Our Story
Branded Brothers, Inc. was born from a simple but powerful idea: that rescued animals and the heroes who protect our communities can heal together. Founded by Scott and Stephanie Geraughty, the organization grew from a small pasture program into a recognized nonprofit serving veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS professionals, and correctional officers across the region.
Our equine program pairs participants with adopted mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management, giving both horse and human a second chance. Through structured horsemanship academies, weekend clinics, and ongoing mentorship, participants build confidence, develop coping skills, and form lasting bonds with animals that mirror their own journeys of resilience.
In recent years we expanded into K-9 programs, training shelter dogs alongside veterans and first responders. The result is a dual-benefit model: dogs find forever homes and handlers gain purpose, routine, and companionship. Every program we offer is free for qualifying participants, funded entirely by community support, grants, and fundraising events.
